Day 1: Arrive In Yangon City

Mingalabar Myannar! Welcome to Myanmar.
You will be met upon arrival by a local representative and taken to checking in to your luxurious accommodation. Rest of morning will be at leisure to relax. Your first afternoon is spent with a nice introduction of Yangon by visiting Sule pagoda  – a 2,5000 year Burmese stupa, which is located in the heart of the city, an important religious site. Continue to the Reclining Buddha at Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, a 213-foot-long statue with an expressive enamel face. View the story of the Buddha’s life embossed on the soles of the statue’s staggered feet. Stop a local Tea House to experience what locals do when exploring the city and followed by a stroll through Scott Market (Bogyoke Market) amid shops filled with antiques, old coins, Burmese jade and handicrafts. and in the afternoon enjoy sunset over Shwedagon Pagoda’s beautiful golden spires. Return to your hotel, with time to relax. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon, Fly To Bagan (B)

After breakfast you will be taken to the airport to fly to Bagan, the former royal capital in northern Myanmar. Bagan is the country’s spiritual center. Over 2,000 pagodas, stupas and temples dot the golden plains of Bagan. Met by a local representative and you are taken to check in to your luxurious accommodation in Bagan. Relax for a while before a very interesting tour to visit incredible Bagan temples. You will first visit Ananda Temple, one of the most surviving masterpiece of the Mon architecture and also known as the finest, largest, best preserved and most revered of the Bagan temples. Continue to shwezigon Pagoda, with its gilded stupa, followed by Ananda Temple with its four standing Buddha images. You will also visit Anauk Pwa Saw Village where you can see cotton weaving, and Minanthu Village which produces cooking oil from peanuts. You will continue with a visit the largest and best preserved 12th century Dhammayangyi Pagoda. End your day savoring a beautiful sunset view from one of the most scenic spots as you look out over the plains of Bagan. Return to your hotel and relax. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 3: Sunrise Over Bagan, Mt Popa (B)

Get up early today for a sunrise hot-air balloon ride (this service is optional at your request and it is available from October to April). This unforgettable experience allows you to appreciate the true extent of Bagan’s beauty, its thousands of temples and its serene countryside. Today you’ll also climb the 777 stairs to the top of volcanic Mt. Popa, where you’ll discover monasteries, shrines and gold stupas at its peak. For dinner, take a private cruise on the Irrawaddy, glimpsing village life on the riverbanks. Return to your hotel in Bagan for the night.

Day 4: Nyaung Oo Market And Village (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel and today you will hop on a private vehicle or bicycle at your choice to explore Bagan. First, you’ll head to Nyaung Oo Market where villagers and local hill tribe people gather everyday to sell fresh fruits, vegetables, and other handmade goods. Next, learn about how Bagan’s most famous foods, pone yay gyi (bean powder paste) and pe chaung (bean snacks), are made at a local shop. This salty black paste made from soy beans is often used in Burmese cooking. Then we will drive to a village where locals use the juice of palm trees to make a variety of products, including wine and sweet molasses. While you visit, be sure to see how the farmers expertly climb the palm trees to collect juice. Have a tasty and delightful delightful lunch prepared by a local family here. Have a break after your lunch and then we will head to Minnanthu in the east, one of Bagan’s lesser-known areas. This agricultural village specializes in peanut and sesame oil production. Stroll around the peaceful town, passing by the temples of Lemyentha, Nandamannya, and Payathonzu before heading to the boat pier. After boarding a local boat, you’ll set off on an Irrawaddy River cruise. Observe everyday riverine life as you float past fishing villages, stilted houses and fishermen plying their trade. Return to your hotel and this is your last night stay in Bagan.

Day 5: Bagan, Fly To Heho, Inle Lake (B)

Breakfast at hotel and you will take a morning flight to Heho and after one-hour scenic drive will take you to Inle Lake – another must-see location in Myanmar. This is the site of floating farms and stilt-house villages where more than 70,000 people of different ethnicities call home. Checking in to your accommodation and you relax for the rest of morning. After lunch time, we will spend the rest half day to visit villages and sample the spectacular array of traditional handicrafts. You will see the unique method locals use to row their boats, fishermen with their own style of fishing, floating farms and gardens and a handloom weaving cottage with its own showroom. Next stop to visit Phaungdawoo Pagoda which houses the five most revered Buddha Images in the southern Shan State. Overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 6: Indein Market & Pa Oi Tribe Village (B)

Breakfast at hotel and you will enjoy your full day at explore the floating market. Next, visit Indein pagoda complex. You’ll discover hundreds of pagodas, most of them hidden under vegetation and standing in provocative states of ruin. After lunch on the shore you explore the other side of the lake, starting the journey at the Pa O tribal village. Meet friendly locals and share a greeting with the locals is a huge part of the experience and always provides a longstanding memory. Return to your hotel and remainder of the day will be at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Inle Lake

Day 8: Heho, Fly To Thandwe, Ngapali (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and you will fly to Thandwe. Enjoy 30-minute drive to Ngapali beach. Checking in to your accommodation and you will be at leisure to enjoy your resort and the beach. Ngapali Beach is a perfect, quiet place to relax. The three kilometers of white sand is lined with coconut palms, and the crystal clear waters are perfect for swimming or snorkeling. Day 12: Best Of Yangon City (B)

Your full-day tour is spent with a nice introduction of Yangon by hopping on a tour of the city’s grand colonial architecture via “Elephant Coach” – a restored antique Chevrolet bus. These Elephant Coaches are unique to Yangon and feature teak interiors decked out with Shan textiles and elaborate woodwork. visiting Sule pagoda  – a 2,5000 year Burmese stupa, which is located in the heart of the city, an important religious site.
