Get in touch with the local people and visit a baker’s house to see the making process of Kembang Waru – a type of cookie only sold in Kotagede, walk through the traditional market and don Javanese dress to visit the Royal Cemetery of the Mataram Kingdom. Rise early and depart the city in order to relish an unforgettable sunrise at Borobudur Temple – This 113 foot high pyramid is a bit of a Buddhist mystery. Built between the 8th and 9th centuries by the ruling Buddhist Cailendra dynasty. Visit a traditional and immensely colorful Batik home. Finish the day by visiting the impressive Prambanan temple complex, a UNESCO world heritage site consisting of 240 temples built by the subsequent ruling dynasty. Learn about classic Hindu temple architecture and enjoy a special showing of the light-hearted Javanese traditional dance. Return to you hotel, in time to relax. Overnight in Yogyakarta.

Checking in to your accommodation and you will spend rest of the day at leisure by your own account. Begin your day with the 1.5-hour trek to the highest volcanic crater in Bali in time to watch the sunrise. At the top, enjoy tasty picnic breakfast and take in the amazing views of the surrounding area at the break of day. After sunrise, enjoy some time to walk around the crater of the volcano before crossing a hill of lava and black sand. Trek back down the mountain, and then soothe away your aches at a natural hot spring. Return to your hotel and you will be free at leisure for the rest of day. Overnight in Ubud.

Breakfast at hotel and today you will visit the Gates of Heaven at Lempuyang Temple. Take in the magical views of Mount Agung behind the temple. Let your guide snap cool shots for you and explain the history of the ancient temple, the Balinese people, and their culture. Visit Tirta Gangga, known as the most beautiful former royal water palace in Eastern Bali. Move on to Tukad Cepung waterfall where you can admire the sun’s rays shining through the top of the falls, creating natural beams across the canyon, and have a chance to swim in the waterfall. Then, take the journey to Ubud to walk leisurely in a beautiful rice field among the coconut plants. Last but not least, fly over the jungle and experience incredible views on a jungle swing. Challenge yourself with around 30 meters of rope and swing above the valley or jungle. Return to hotel and rest of the day wil be at leisure. Overnight in Ubud.
