Back to the hotel for lunch break, At 14:00 pm, visit Thien Hau pagoda – this gorgeous 19th-century temple is dedicated to the goddess Thien Hau, and always attracts a mix of worshippers and visitors to visit daily. Come back to the city to visit Ben Thanh market to test your shopping skills. There are lots of photo opportunities about the local life during the visit.

Breakfast at the hotel and we will drive you to Cai Be in Tien Giang province. Your journey starts from Phu An Jetty and you will cycle around the beautiful remote countryside area, ending up at Le Longanier Restaurant. Lunch is served in this exquisite colonial-style villa set in a lush tropical garden by the river. After lunch, start your leisurely cruise on the Delta’s beautiful waterways, with stops along the way to explore local cottage industries that provide a living for the river people. Before arriving at Sa Dec, visit a traditional brick factory where everything is made by hand. Arriving at Sa Dec, step ashore and stroll to the outdoor market. Visit the historic house of the real-life character in the acclaimed novel and film “The Lover” by Marguerite Duras. Dinner is served at a local house. The owner welcomes you and a candlelit dinner is served in this authentic environment. Enjoy your first night on board the Song Xanh on the Mekong River.

Breakfast is served on board while you cruise towards Long Xuyen along a narrow canal, passing several scenic monkey bridges. After enjoying lunch on board, arrive in Long Xuyen to visit Tiger Island, birthplace of Vietnam’s second president. Return to the sampan for dinner and resume your cruise towards Chau Doc. The boat anchors for the 2nd night. Overnight on board Song Xanh sampan.

Breakfast is served on board while your sampan cruises towards Chau Doc. Close to the border with Cambodia, Chau Doc is the gateway to Phnom Penh. Disembark at Victoria Chau Doc private pier at approximately 10:00 am. Tonight you will stay overnight at Victoria Chau Doc resort.
