Day 1: Arrive In Bangkok City

Sawadee, Welcome to Thailand – the Land of Smiles. You will be met by a local tour guide and taken to city, checking into your accommodation and you will spend the rest of the day is yours at leisure to begin your explorations, or just relax and enjoy your new surroundings. Stay at hotel in Bangkok.

 

Day 2: Highlights Of Bangkok (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and you will take a full-day scenic sightseeing tour of Bangkok and see all the city’s highlights on a 8-hour excursion. Explore the ornate Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Continue to the Wat Po temple with its Reclining Buddha. Relax with a 30-minute traditional Thai massage. Then, after lunch, sail by longtail boat along the Chao Phraya River through the city’s canals. See a traditional way of life, away from the high-rise buildings of central Bangkok, as you pass the Thonburi residential area. Stop at Wat Arun – the “Temple of Dawn”. Next, walk through the flower market and experience rural life in Bangkok. Discover a vast selection of orchids and tropical flowers. End your tour at Golden Mountain, a steep hill inside the Wat Saket temple compound, where panoramic city views are your reward. Day 3: Kanchanaburi, River Kwai – Hellfire (B)

Enjoy your breakfast and then we will embark on a trip to nearby Kanchanaburi, just a couple of hours’ drive from Bangkok. It’s here the infamous Death Railway crosses the Bridge on the River Kwai, now a peaceful and solemn memorial to the POWs of World War II. Next up, its a visit to the Mon Tribal Village to enjoy cultural performances and some traditional Mon food, then to the breathtaking Erawan Waterfall. To truly appreciate the serenity of this beautiful city, guests can check into The Float House, a luxurious resort situated on the River Kwai.

 

Day 4: Ayuthaya Ancient City – Bangkok (B)

Breakfast at the hotel, we begins with a drive to Ayutthaya, Siam’s ancient capital. After a leisurely lunch aboard the boat, we explore ancient ruins of Ayutthaya,  the UNESCO World Heritage Site is quite well-preserved. Founded in 1350, Ayutthaya became the second Siamese capital after Sukhothai. It was destroyed by the Burmese in the 18th century. Its remains, characterized by the reliquary towers and gigantic monasteries, give an idea of its past splendour. Return to hotel in Bangkok and spend your evening free. Overnight in Bangkok.

 

Day 5: Bangkok, Fly To Chiang Rai (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and you will be transferred to the airport to fly to the heart of the Golden Triangle which connects Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar – Chiang Rai. Here, you’ll check out the Hall of Opium, which presents an intriguing look into opium production and its effects on the region. You will visit Black House, Visit Rong Khun Temple (White Temple), designed by the famous national artist. The main temple building is a distinctive white color, decorated with fragments of reflective glass which can be seen from afar. Spend your evening at leisure. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

 

Day 6: Villages & Hill Tribe Encounters (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel and today is spent with a full day to soak in the rustic atmosphere of ruined cities, hill tribes, and the magnificent natural landscape on this day tour from Chiang Rai. Learn the unique heritage of the native Akha and Yao tribes. Next, head for the forgotten city of Chiang Saen, enjoy a native lunch to satisfy your cravings before driving down to the Golden Triangle area, where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos converge surrounded by the flowing waters of the Mekong and Ruak rivers. Marvel at the panoramic view of the converging nations and scenic nature. Return to hotel. Overnight in Chiang Rai

 

Day 7: Chiang Khong – Border Crossing – Luang Say Lodge

Breakfast and we drive to Chiang Khong, a border checkpoint to enter into Laos.  After completing Thai immigration formalities, our representative will help you get a shuttle bus to cross the bridge and go to Lao immigration. Our staff in Huay Xay will then welcome you to Laos and help with Lao immigration formalities. We will then transfer you and other guests on a shuttle bus to the Luangsay cruise boat, which is parked at the slow boat pier in Houei Say (about 1 kilometer out of the town center). After one-hour journeying along the river, the boat stops at a traditional village. This is a chance to observe rural life along the Mekong and witness the daily life of ethnic minorities and their talented craftsmanship. Lunch is served on board in a buffet style with a main course from Laos’ main culinary delights as well as a choice of fish and meat dishes. The river cruise arrives at Luang Say Lodge near Pakbeng before sunset, giving plenty of time to refresh, enjoy the scenery of the river and admire the surrounding nature. A Laotian dinner is served on the open air terrace overlooking the Mekong River. Overnight at Luangsay Lodge.

 

Day 8: Downriver Cruising To Luang Prabang (B, L)

Mornings are special times at Luang Say Lodge with stunning sights of the peaceful neighboring mountains, often shrouded in mist, while a full breakfast is served on the expansive teak terrace. The cruise departs for another day of nature discovery along the legendary river with two stops planned along the way to Luang Prabang. Lunch is served on board in a buffet style with a main course from Laos’ cuisine. Stop to visit the Tam Thing cave, home to over 2,500 Buddha statues of all sizes. The cruise arrives at Luang Prabang at around 17:00 pm. Checking into your accommodation and you will spend your evening time at leisure. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

 

Day 9: Morning Alms & City Orientation (B)

OPTION: Rise early this morning, in time to watch monks as they walk through the city receiving alms. Each morning, a procession of monks passes through the streets collecting food offerings from locals. Back to hotel for breakfast.

After your breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken on a tour of Luang Prabang’s sacred temples. Visit Wat Visoun, Wat Aham and especially Wat Xieng Thong, a 16th century temple which epitomises all the elegance and grace of Luang Prabang architecture. Continue visiting the National Museum, a former Royal Palace, housing a collection of valuables including the famous Prabang Buddha statue and gifts received from foreign dignitaries. After enjoying a delicious, authentic lunch at a local restaurant, you will pay a visit to Ock Pop Tock weaving center to learn and discover Laos through textiles. Ock Pop Tock means “East Meets West”  was founded in 2000 by an English Photographer and and Laotian weaver with a passion for textiles and a mission to become this place one of the most important textile and artisanal institutions in all of Laos and South East Asia. Transfer you back to the hotel and you will enjoy your evening free. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

 

Day 10: Kuangsi Waterfall & Barci Ceremony (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel and today is spent with an excursion to visit a beautiful Kuang Si waterfall. These waterfalls here create a series of pools and are perfect for taking a cooling swim in. Their limestone rock formations and the surrounding jungle provide a natural setting for walks and relaxation. Alternatively explore the surrounding countryside on walking trails through native forest. You’ll enjoy lunch in a Khmu village. The Khmu are one of the largest ethnic groups in northern Laos, numbering approximately 450,000 Return to the city and a trip to Luang Prabang could never be complete without a festive celebration, and there are few more joyous moments than being able to take part in a real Baci Ceremony. The ritual will offer prayers for you and your family and loved ones, praying for harmony, peace, good fortune, honesty and warmth. Day 11: Luang Prabang, Fly To Siem Reap (B)

Breakfast at hotel and you will be transferred to the airport to fly to Siem Reap. On arrival you will be met by a local tour guide and taken to hotel in the city. Checking into your accommodation and remainder of the day will be free. Overnight in Siem Reap city.

 

Day 12: Angkor Wat And Angkor Thom (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and you will start early and see Angkor Wat at its best, with your expert guide taking you through the lesser-known routes. Your tour continues to Ta Prohm and Ta Keo. Enjoy lunch before continuing on to the intricate sandstone temple at Banteay Srei. On the return journey you’ll encounter the magnificent lion and naga statues at the Banteay Samre temple. In the afternoon, after lunch travel to the Victory Gate of Angkor Thom, through the parkland behind the Terrace of the Elephants. Walk past Phimeanakas and the Baphuon temple before ending at Bayon. Day 13: Cooking & Countryside Sunset (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel and you will visit a local market and enjoy a cooking class to learn how to cook authentic Khmer cuisine. A truly unique and unforgettable experience for those who wish to do more than just see the sights.

At 15:00, we start explore the real Cambodia with our All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV). From the lush countryside to isolated villages, let us take you out for unforgettable memories!! Day 14: Siem Reap, Fly To Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Breakfast at hotel and you will be taken to the airport to fly to Ho Chi Minh city, starting a journey from South to North of Vietnam. You will be greeted and met by a local representive and taken on our private vehicle to hotel. Checking into your accommodation and remainder of the day will be at your own account. Day 15: Good Morning Saigon, City Orientation (B)

Good morning Saigon! After your breakfast you will enjoy a comprehensive city of Saigon. Discover a city full of contrasts; French colonial architecture competes with Chinese influences and traditional characters. You will visit Catholic Notre Dame Cathedral and Post Office which are both wonderful examples of French Colonial architecture nearby and then we will head to visit the Presidential Palace. There is a chance to take a closer look at the City Opera Hall. After a short lunch break, you will visit Thien Hau pagoda – this gorgeous 19th-century temple is dedicated to the goddess Thien Hau, and always attracts a mix of worshippers and visitors to visit daily.

Optional Saigon After Dark, At 06:00 pm, join in our interesting Saigon after dark foodie tour on scooter. You will have great chances to sample and savor the most amazing dishes that Vietnam has to offer. Our drivers and guides will take you to different parts of the city that locals offer different Vietnamese foodies from South up to North. Back to the hotel at around 10:00 pm. Overnight at hotel

 

Day 16: Half Day Cu Chi Tunnels (B)

Breakfast at hotel and this morning is spent with a half-day excusion to visit Cu Chi tunnels. travel out of the city to the Cu Chi tunnels. This vast network of tunnels, stretching for more than 93 miles, part of a network of underground tunnels once used by Viet Cong soldiers as hiding spots during combat. The tunnels are an insight into the dedication of the Viet Cong who virtually lived in the narrow and claustrophobic tunnels while the war raged above. Return to city and you will be free at leisure. Day 17: Fly To Danang, Hoi An (B)

Breakfast at hotel and today you will take a morning flight to Danang city. On arrival you will be met by a local representative and taken to hotel. Checking into your accommodation and you will be free at leisure. Overnight at hotel/beach resort in Hoi An.

 

Day 18: Ancient Town Of Hoi An (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Be charmed by Hoi An, an ancient town, now a UNESCO World Heritage site is one of Vietnam’s most picturesque and atmospheric towns that you have ever seen. This morning is spent with a half-day walking city tour with a first stop to bustling and colorful market – a visually stunning place where you can see locals selling and buying staples for their daily meals. Get immersed in the area if you are interested in photo shooting, you will surely capture the ones that you love. Then we will come back to the town, walking along Thu Bon river to visit Japanese Covered Bridge – This symbolic icon of Hoi An was built by the Japanese almost 500 years ago. It is notable for its statues of monkeys and dogs, reflective of sacred Japanese emblems. Continue to a Chinese communal hall, a colourful mélange of bright gates, dragon statues and elaborate rooftops. Get an introduction to ancestor worship while visiting the family altar and watching local devotees making offerings. Next stop to visit Thanh Ha pottery village, a traditional village famed for pottery products. Watch how unique pieces are created. Spend your free time to go shopping at Hoi An’s famous handicraft shops, art galleries. Hoi An is a shopping paradise and the town is also famous for its large number of tailor shops, so if you want to have a new wardrobe made up, this is the time to do it. Transfer back to the hotel. Day 19: At Leisure, Danang/Hoi An (B)

Overnight in Hoi An.

 

Day 20: Fly To Hanoi, Dinner With Host (B, D)

After breakfast, airport transfer to take a morning flight to Hanoi. On arrival you will be met by a local representative and taken to hotel. Checking into your accommodation and you will be free at leisure. At 15:00, you will be escorted by guide and a Chef to soak up the charm of Hanoi’s past as part of a walking tour through the city’s Old Quarter. Day 21: Highlights Of Hanoi (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and then today you will enjoy a comprehensive orientation city tour of Hanoi. Hanoi is the country’s cultural heart, bearing traces of centuries of changing dynasties. You will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace and the historic complex including Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, One Pillar Pagoda. Also visit the infamous “Hanoi Hilton” prison, where American prisoners of war were once confined; the Temple of Literature. If desire, you will also visit Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts or History Museum at your choice. Day 22: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)

Day 23: Halong Bay – Hanoi, Fly To Yangon (B)

A great morning activity to feel one with this natural wonder. The crew will bid you farewell and you disembark with our tender boat to the jetty. Day 24: Yangon City Orientation (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Today is spent with a full-day comprehensive tour of Yangon city. Begin the day with a private guided tour of Yangon’s colonial architecture, including a stop at a traditional teashop for late morning refreshments. Enjoy a stroll around this spiritual landmark and soak up the atmosphere at dusk as local families come to give offerings. Day 25: Yangon, Fly To Bagan (B)

Breakfast and then you will be picked up from your hotel this morning by private transfer to the airport in time for your flight to Bagan. On arrival, you’re met by your guide and private driver. After checking in to your hotel and having time to relax, head out with your guide to explore Bagan’s temples. Bagan has an intriguing history, and here you’ll see it unravelled in its architecture – sites such as Ananda Temple, Shwezigon Pagoda, and the Minnanthu village temples. he ancient town is at its finest as the blazing sun sinks slowly to earth and a rainbow of colours fill the sky and the incredible North Guni Temple (also known as Myauk Guni) and the terrace at the Pyathadar Hpaya Temple are the best places to watch very beautiful sunset in Bagan. Day 26: Cooking, Bagan By Horse Cart

Optional Hot Balloon Over Bagan: Get up early today for a sunrise hot-air balloon ride, available in peak season from October to April. This unforgettable experience allows you to appreciate the true extent of Bagan’s beauty, its thousands of temples and its serene countryside.

Breakfast at hotel and today you will spend your morning learning how to cook some traditional Myanmar food at a local family home with an expert chef. You’ll be taken to the local market to buy your ingredients before heading to the kitchen to cook 5 dishes. Afterwards enjoy your dishes for lunch and return back to your hotel. The best way to see Bagan again by a traditional transportation method. Day 27: Bagan, Fly To Heho, Inle Lake (B, L)

Breakfast at hotel and you will take a flight to Heho and after one-hour scenic drive will take you to Inle Lake – another must-see location in Myanmar. This is the site of floating farms and stilt-house villages where more than 70,000 people of different ethnicities call home. Checking in to your accommodation and you relax for the rest of morning.

In the afternoon, we will spend the rest half day to visit villages and sample the spectacular array of traditional handicrafts. You will see the unique method locals use to row their boats, fishermen with their own style of fishing, floating farms and gardens and a handloom weaving cottage with its own showroom. Next stop to visit Phaungdawoo Pagoda which houses the five most revered Buddha Images in the southern Shan State. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 28: Indein Market & Pa Oi Tribe Village (B)

Breakfast at hotel and you will enjoy your full day at explore the floating market. Next, visit Indein pagoda complex. You’ll discover hundreds of pagodas, most of them hidden under vegetation and standing in provocative states of ruin. After lunch on the shore you explore the other side of the lake, starting the journey at the Pa O tribal village.
